Dear Researchers,

In most of the papers related to climate change, it is mentioned that Climate is a long-term phenomena i.e. weather averaged over 30 years or more. I don't understand what is the reason behind drawing a line that at least it will be 30 years. Is there any mathematical brace to it? Regarding temperature, the increase in last two decades may be higher than that of five decades before that. Then, there is no point to draw such a line. Is there any significant reason?

Thanks in Advance.
