In my opinion as the world has already moved to the online mode of education. Internet is the future as COVID 19 has paved ways to the future generation educational model. Now future is going to be the cloud.
My answer is YES. COVID-19 has pushed hesitated institute to landscape education on the cloud to practically experience it. However, many of lecturers and teacher reprted that they are more confident than ever on better way to deliver the message and information while students feedback so far is not clear. this COVID-19 will change the way education is serviced. if IoT enpowered and infrastructured by good internet capability (5G technology) at good cost the Globe education system will be revolutionalized
Digital technology and its extensive application in educational field has been experimented extensively but it could not become a substitute of class room teaching due to several inherent advantages. Covid -19 has given pace to educational institute as a substitute of classroom teaching and given a way for the futuristic educational model . its benefit and losses has to be evaluated in future.
Thank you all for the comment. Your comments helped me a lot in finalizing the paper. Alhamdulillah... The paper is ready now and I already sent to the journal for publication.
I really appreciate your contribution in this regard
Education and many other things will always be affected by major events such as this, and we concentrate efforts into digital platforms at our peril. All it takes is an inability to provide the power that is a prerequisite and much can be lost.
Cloud-based technology is extremely vulnerable and potentially insecure. It concentrates power and capability in the hands of a few and de-personalises.
Inter-connectivity, not least of the sort in which we are all indulging now, is a major advantage but there will always be a need for small-scale, person to person education.
The impetus for adopting new methods and technologies should aways be based on need and advantage whereas it is much more likely that it will be based on cost.
For reasons other than the health crisis learning online, blended learning and teleworking are a reality right now. But the health crisis will promote these models in work and teaching.
