In some technical professions, like medical, nurshing, civil and mechanical engineering etc., 100% concentration and practical knowledge is required everyday.
What will be the outcome of the psychological clash between the virtual world vs practical world among our future generation people?
I believe they will be up to the task. During my degree, some of our lecturers also expressed their concern about what we would grow up to be and now as colleagues the fear is no long on us but on the present students who would one day become teachers to teach our children. This will continue and continue as long as the humans exit and there will always be people to teach, people being taught and people to raise concern about the future.
In future, due to increasing quantum of work and changing job profile with more demanding work, work pressure may increase. However, advancement in technology will help and support in reducing pressure due to demanding schedule. New generation need to gear up for the same .
I think they will integrate with the automated community with no emotional interaction
Yes, it looks like the present generation students will be under mental pressure in future when they actual face reality in service sectors as they are not mentally prepared for the hard facts, which we learn only by experience. Most of them get everything handed out to them and are in a totally virtual world, with minimum interaction around! This is a necessary training which I doubt if present generation students are getting in their educational period?
Yes, definitely all of the present generation students are tremendous mental stress when they relized actual reality in job because now their life is ease.

There is a bigger problem in the danger posed by the virtual world, which was an alternative to the place and time of the youth generation. Hatred, extremism, market words, the misuse of cultures and the fall of intellectual waves are a source of menace to young people, especially as they are hungry to compensate for the losses they face in their actual reality. There is no opportunity for suitable work or suitable recreational places or not to absorb their talents or government or civil attention to them, as if they suddenly landed on this planet from another planet, found nothing to look for except in virtual worlds that provide them with what they want, on the other hand, protected Of the dangers of hatred, extremism, and terrorism.

Right, until reaching a certain maturity level, they do not do anything serious. However, they get trained in a number of important elements - how to communicate in a rapid and efficient manner, how to get information required, how to develop and use game strategies, and a number of other useful elements.

That's correct. Nevertheless, multiple games, interactions with friends online, etc. teaching them to be to some degree flexible, accommodate to changing situations, be involved concurrently in more than one interaction. All that helps for a rapid accommodation to new requirements.

True, it is a valid point. Though I think, given a proper professional education, their past experience in dealing with digital gadgets/computers will help them a lot in their transitioning from kids /students to working adults.

It seems to me, today's youth transition to a working generation of professionals is still not going to be easy, but it would be less dramatic than it was for previous youth generations.

Jobs are very competitive these days. One should possess enough skills to sustain and grow at the workplace. If the students are utilising their virtual world to enhance their skills, obviously they will have an advantage. Otherwise their concepts of virtual world may cost them heavily. This virtual world is a double edge sword, if not handled properly, it is definitely going to hurt badly.
The escape from the 'Nuremberg Funnel' into virtual worlds is nothing new, but today you can do it in a non-stop manner, without noticing the real world around you.
Instead of funneling a quantity of knowledge 'garbage' into the heads of young people (via a planned curriculum economy/education assembly line), a practical pedagogical fusion of humanistic, scientific and professional methods should be taught by different project works.
the present generation students will get tremendous mental pressure in future if teachers do not provide them with the supplementary skills they lack. our task is more demanding nowadays. there is no other option in the era of technology. they are exposed to virtual world. we should help them to cope with the real issues of the real world.
Basically, there is an internal fight of a person with himself. The social media and video game things in the market is for no one. Its being designed for distracting the growing children by getting them addicted. So, there the qualitative growth stops. The study or education s/he has pursued is different from the work place he gets. Even the work place is of his own domain of education but still he lacks in terms of performance because of only theoretical knowledge he has gained so far. This creates an internal fight related to the previous life decisions. His decision can be correct according to the then time. If the education system is something that is quite at a fault in terms of practical knowledge, skills enhancement, a little can be done. A person can't go back to his school/university to argue about the lack of skills he has thereby internal fight of career matter starts which increases the pressure, anger and at such times you never get a support makes your condition even worst.
Certain things need to be care of in the well beginning by the parents are -
1. provide things necessary to his life at a particular time. New generation can be fast but that doesn't mean you should start riding vehicles at the age of 14. (example). That is where everything starts.
2. If the schools are not providing some practical knowledge, let them buy something he can practically work and experience themselves.
3. The school and university fees are heavily increasing year after year and the quality of theoretical education is decreasing day by day. Forget about the practical knowledge and skill enhancement, it was never there. Under such conditions parents can always pressurize the schools for such activities, but nobody cares. Students can't say anything to school management, parents need good output. The students get sandwiched there which creates worries at a very early age.
4. Parents pressure can also affect the child's mentality but it is not like you never control them.
For candidates themselves, pressure management is something that they need to learn about. But before that they have the time to go for skill set up and there domains practical knowledge. This can let them get some good work opportunity. If the work is satisfactory with good affordable salary, there is an automatic decrease in pressure and internal fights.
Patience is the key and different methods implemented for professional growth can always solve such issues.

Admittedly, there is a "global" decline in the quality of higher education which connotes that the products of this process "graduates" will not be predicted initially to perform well in the real world & will not be up to the challenges ahead.
The modern tools of communications have engaged the students in the social media immensely & we observe that the students waste lot of precious times in this regard. The noticed outcomes among the youth are : 1) Shallowness. 2) Deceitful knowledge. 3) Distractions.
Upon joining a career, such graduates will suffer & this suffering will teach them the hard way how to become more fitting & mature.
The present generation of students may have problems in real life.Today's youth are brought up without stress, without being independent. Parents and school make sure that young people do not have problems. In real work, they will have to respond to the real task, solve real problems, have measurable effects and sometimes manage yourself with inevitable stress.

Definitely. In past decades the doctors we produced had an inculcated nature of empathy,ethics and morality which is totally absent in the present generation doctors and the worst part is ethics has been included mandatorily into the curriculum and is been forced on faculties to teach ethics to the budding doctors. How pathetic. ethics has to come from one on its own and should not be or cannot be taught. and that is the worst situation in India at present.
