Do you think that the topics that are being asked by the researcher through Research - Gate are within his specific competence?

Not necessary - it can be any question as long as can contribute to knowledge. Also some of the answers are "one man's trash is another man's treasure" because different researchers coming from different backgrounds.

In my case , my feed is my domain so I have no qualms :)

Here and there people ask questions based on their problems , you can't say too much except try and empathize (I think)

Research Gate is a knowledgeable group of person joining with the research with an end to ask their knowledge where they may get the exchange of their views under the discussion as we know that knowledge is power & there is no limit to the knowledge . With the discussion & opportunities for learning the areas from various researcher , new ideas creating the further research may prove to be a guideline for the researcher .
