Everyone gets very angry when informed that his paper is rejected, but what makes me so angry and sad sometimes when I feel that my paper is rejected without giving any reasons, having known that its contribution is much better than some papers in the same domain, published in the same journal.
Is the problem in my name?
I solve this by keep publishing elsewhere, indeed it works, my papers eventually find their way to public.
Ahmad in some parts of the world I think that may happen. May I suggest trying to publish in well known international journals I fine thus far that my name has not been a factor. Best of luck do not give up.

My personal experience, Name & institution makes huge difference. My paper was reject and reviews had a very mixed opinion 2 people gave very very good comments. 1 person did a weak reject with some comments which is understandable. But 1 reviewer gave a strong comments stating that the idea and experiments doesn't have any credibility. Surprisingly the points he mentioned were clearly addressed in my paper and few experts in the field were surprised about it.
I am quite depressed as a young researcher.

Yes, its true not only you but anyone of us feel like yours ......feelings by getting the rejection of a paper without proper reasons, comments and suggestions. An expert reviewer of the field generally unbiased and provides very good feedback even for the rejection.

I have noticed these bias as well. But the best researches eventually find their way in the public domain. I have experienced first hand several times same paper after changing affiliation got accepted.
I would advise that you pass your paper to your friends/colleagues/superiors known to you (who would be able to provide expert comments on your paper and who already published a lot in reputed journals) before submitting the paper to a Journal. Based on their comments you update your paper and then submit to your selected journal. In this process you will find that your paper get easy acceptance!

I think that the name of an Author with a recognized expertise in a field of investigation has a facltiy in the review of his maniscript and an easier access to the most important journals.
I agree with you entirely and I also as you prefer " publishing elsewhere, indeed it works, my papers eventually find their way to public".

In my opinion we should not generalize. Being researcher sometime we may get reverse opinion. The reason may be anything even the researcher considers it is one of the best manuscript. Those of any possible reasons may be 1, reviewer is not from that area, 2. reviewer is not competent in the field, 3. reviewer is considering his job seriously and 4. may be author fails to convince our view points.

I agree with all my dear colleagues. That is true that many editors reject a paper with high quality. Always author’s name and nationality influenced on publishing. So, it is the first and the only criterion used by most editors to accept or reject the manuscript.
Also, I want to ask and know if the editor of a journal has all right to keep a paper for a very long period (from December 2016 until October 2017). After this long period and fourth successive revision where we answered all comment’s reviewers he decided to reject it because lack of novelty? Also, this comment has never said or pronounced by the reviewers (Three reviewers in the first revision and two reviewers for the second). For the third and the forth revision, we have received only the editor’s comments and we gave a response to each.
