The establishment of a unified European power is one of the complex issues facing European countries in general and the European Union in particular. After decades of reliance on the American nuclear umbrella, and with the increasing and complex crises in the European continent (such as the Balkan wars and the Russian-Ukrainian war), it became clear that European countries are unable to Ensuring security and stability on the continent on its own and without US interference, which is what drives it to seek to establish its own defense doctrine and military forces to implement that doctrine.

However, this faces great difficulties, including those related to the European context itself, where there are no unified European perceptions and visions of what that doctrine should be, and how to establish, conduct and finance these forces. The European Union, although it succeeded in unifying its economic and financial policies, but it failed. So far in political, constitutional and defensive unification, just as the entrenched American role in the continent makes Washington reject the independence of the continent in defense and security in order to remain under its control, and this gives America strategic hegemony and influence, as well as material benefit from financing the countries of the continent militarily with weapons, and control over crisis management. Europe is witnessing, especially since European countries have proven their failure to deal with the major crises that the continent witnessed after the end of the Cold War.

According to what we studied in the past, with the common Foreign and Security Policy based on migration's Administration, something were going in this direction. But, as we know, the EU has never taken a real step to have an indipendent military Force within the Organization. Before doing so, they may leave NATO, that's impossible for many of EU countries. The crisis in Ukraine shows that the EU can't take any step to defend herself without the intervention of the Usa and Nato. Therefore, it will be very difficult for the EU to set up her own Defense Security without the implication of the Usa and NATO.

The E.U.'s current format could possibly end if the dollar loses credibility and reserve status. If the dollar fails, the Euro and Sterling will follow as they are inextricably index-linked. BRICS however, has 23 possible nations wishing to join. All want to use their own currencies in trading.

It is unluckily to happen unless European Union has a series mistrust or conflict towards US-Nato model .

The reason why a serious European Army has not being created has been the economic reason , E.U countries has largely reduced their Armies after 1991 , even if many criticise Nato the common protection gave the possibility for everyone to invest less in weapons by being more protected ,granting peace to Nato members.

Until the Art.5 principle will disincentives conflicts between Nato members and the world and among Nato members (Turkey-Grece case).

The E.U army might only be redundant if for defensive porpouse , until it would do the same as Nato just with more autonomy .

The idea of creating a European Army accompanied the beginning of European unification. Multiple factors counteract and delay this event. Numerous political decisions and strategic concepts were not followed by the adoption of concrete goals, programs and projects to implement this old idea. The construction of the RDC by 2025 is a very small step that may have the fate of similar previous decisions. The creation of the EU Army depends on the future development of the EU and the necessity and possibility of its creation. The main criteria for the construction is whether the EU Army is a better alternative than the existing European security system. Three main factors will determine the comparison of the two alternatives – the escalation of risk and threats to European security, the agreement of EU member states to accept the burden of their protection and the position of partner countries to guarantee security. Behind these factors lies a multitude of parameters that are difficult to list briefly.

The U.S. controls the EU and is already in NATO. No point in their own Army

The endorsement of the Strategic Compass by the EU and the adoption of the new Strategic Concept by NATO both indicate a growing interest in enhancing European defense capabilities. Establishing a Rapid Deployment Capacity of approximately 5,000 troops by 2025 is a significant step toward that goal.

However, the creation of a fully-fledged EU Army would require a considerable amount of political will, resources, and cooperation among EU member states. Some various challenges and considerations would need to be addressed, such as:

1. Political and diplomatic considerations,

2. Legal considerations,

3. Financial Considerations, and

4. Military considerations.

I strongly believe that recent actions of the EU and NATO indicate a growing interest in enhancing European defense capabilities, it is uncertain whether this will eventually lead to the establishment of a fully-fledged EU Army. The challenges and considerations outlined above would need to be addressed before such a project could be realized.
