Research Gate would definitely improve and increase the scientific awareness amongst its members. Therefore it plays a very important role in refecting the research acumen of university professors, and by doing so increases their scientific scale.
A place where we can share and confront ideas can only be a great opportunity, but not for already fossilized researchers. What I mean is universities now have to face the challenge for mind opening if they want to stay up to date.
Also, for independent researchers, it's a brand new opportunity. And this is good too for institutionalized knowledge, because it brings in new ideas and/or techniques. It's like a global market place without the commercial aspect. It's really interesting.

At first I thought it was a heavy mandate by the college, which is not important, but now it is different for the following reasons: 1 The interest and reputation of the university is the interest of the professor and his scientific reputation. 2. There is a global sequence given to universities based on the number of research, readings, and many other indicators used globally. 3 - to identify scientists without red lines, the world is open to you, and all according to his potential. 4. A great opportunity for researchers to develop themselves, identify their scientific potential, and re-evaluate ourselves.

As long as RG consider as a reason to create a state of scientific competition among members from various disciplines, it will be an important motivation to urge researchers to further scientific output, and sometimes we need a formal order from higher authority to continue to give, because of course, the person needs for external force to motivate him or her for more give
