The emergence of RG brings a lot of articles from different fields every day. RG allows me to read a lot of articles quickly and efficiently, and to search for relevant works of important authors. RG also really gave me more research inspiration, as well as the performance of the chart.

However, many scholars have been discouraged to actively participate on RG because of the recurring reduction in their RG score.
One key resource that RG provides that no one else provides is the ability to communicate with other researchers of the same discipline, but equally important, of other disciplines as well to better understand what scientific research is being done, who is doing is, and what this scientific research looks like in terms of its quality. To the best of my knowledge and experience, no one else is providing this vital effort to the scientific community or the public at large.

My research activity and RG are not connected yet. RG looks like coffee-room in large institute. Till now I don't seen something directly useful for me (exclude publications), but I don't lose the hope. Small talks with similar people is necessary also.
I found RG very useful and inspirational. I have found numeorus articles that have not only supported and guided my research but inspired my other research directions.
