Tourism can be useful for economical development of a Region if it is sustainable from an environmental point of view. Clearly many possibilities exist, for example the tourism in natural national parks must be regulated, while in other free areas can be only an ecological tourism, or a "sustainable" tourism

Do you think E tourism is useful for economical development of any region?
Dear Dr Potdar,
I think, yes. It is inevitable that the use of the technology is useful for the economic development, especially in this knowledge economy era. Like the other business sectors, the qualities of the information, system and the services may be helpful to increase the invitation number of the tourists. In the next stage, the tourism will then encourage the economic development, at least by increasing the money turnover in the region.
Sure tourism leads to economic development, in any country for ex: if you take some Asian countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Maldives are few. if we add the e-services to tourism it leads to more growth and development will seen.
Through e-tourism people may access any where from world to get connect and use the services. developing countries should adopt these services.
Etourism certainly lends to the psychology of impulse shopping, for those that have the finances that do so, and not struggle because of it, then excellent. Etourism must have certain securities (sec from here out) as there are financial transactions that will more then likely be done, customers vital stats, like social sec #, home address, full legal name, phone #,(s), DMV record, (all easily gotten at court house $$) all of this would have either been stored, left in the browser cache as a cookie, or ports left sloppily open to run browser plug ins and add ons. I use "IceWeasel", I guess it is Debians' answer to "Mozilla: FireFox" (lol paradox weasels). SO etourism not only creates feet on the floor jobs in the community it creates call center and on site tech support jobs. Consumers demand securit now.
Etourism can also benefit by way of increasing local entertainment and accesss to educational video, audio, and image, as well as full text reading and historical proofs of events gone by.
That just gave me another thought, because this is an interesting subject, thank you for posting, This could create construction jobs for businesses, in turn, housing for employees, various stores, for supplies, 15 Years later, it's a mess, and those roads still have an unacceptable amount of damage, and new construction, and repairs all at once, i'ts insanity, yet, the plan for when done is fabulous.
