I do not think that anyone can reach the mind of poet when analyzes his/her poetry.

As I see it, only those who are aesthetically, psychologically, and cognititively developped can reach the mind of poet while analyzing his/her poetry. Ordinary peole, so to speak, are nor capable doing this.

I think by reading poems, we can get an idea about the poets views, but reaching his/her mind is far difficult.

I'm a poet, many of my poems still no one know, for whom they have been written, and the real mean of their words, though they can expect the situation and the circumstances..

Sometimes it is possible, But sometimes it is impossible to know what the poet means in his poem except the poet himself . There is a wisdom in Arabic says "meaning in the heart of the poet" . (المعنى في قلب الشاعر).
