Before introduction of online hosting of journals, there were very good published articles in print journals.
But in many cases, these articles are not available to the present day researchers.
The researches as well as the researchers are not getting due honour for that reason.
The present researchers use research matters available only in online resources in most of the cases.
Do you think it has no effect on research?

Do you think there should be some separate repository of at least scan PDF copies of such good articles with free available facility to all users?

I think there are many links that contain copies of good scientific research published in print journals that were issued many years ago and are available to all users of these links, and I agree with you that they are not all in one link, and agree with your excellent suggestion on the subject of identifying a repository for good research published in those journals.

I think it has no effect; however, it is not a matter of setting up a separate repository for such studies. I believe the publishers who published those articles are online now; therefore, they can scan and make it available online to make those article gain recognition.
I agree with you, the current journals (if they own a website) must document their previous publications to preserve the efforts of the publishers. Also the researcher himself can publish his previously published research in printed copies within the Google scholar or through the ResearchGate . This can be accessed by other researchers.
Yes, it is a nice idea. From one point of view, its implementation would save time.

Yes, several links can be used to get the paper. For example: RG, Sciencedirect.
Others use DOI to get the paper.

You are right to some extent.
But I am telling about old yet good research papers.
I found references of such papers in some recent articles. When I try to check the original paper, I find no scope to get it.
Those were published in print journals and not kept online anywhere. Sometime I get only the indexed name of the paper, not the original paper.
It is a problem, I feel.

If we have some digital library,it will beneffit each and every one.
most of institutions of poor countries donot have assess or finance to pay 49$ or more for a single article.
However one thing is for sure that if such library comes into existence it will be good to disseminate the science and technology.

The presently available technology of scan-pdf-uploading is very easy as well as cheap.
It requires only a decision of the competent authorities to perform the job from the print journals kept in the achieve of the libraries.

Yes, it is a good idea.
But I would like to inform that few reputed journals have already adopted it like international journal of dairy science etc.
so many links are available infact you can try sci-hub also where you will have to access almost on every research
