Leaf blight has appeared in greenhouse in 3 days after rain - some droplets came in through open windows. The blight symptoms are spreading along leaf veins.
If problems w.gDNA extraction, I heartily recommend EZNA's Plant DNA. Ran herbarium samples as old as 1880. They also have pathogen kit, and soil DNA. /No conflicts of interests; simply love this product!/
Did you try doing isolates from leaves: on PDA and nutrient agar? you may inspect the whole plant, root, stem and leaves. Are all plant affected or only plants near the window? Could be something abiotic
I think it is a physiological reaction of the plant to the pH of the substrate.
Also, I think it is correlated with deficiency of potassium, light, temperature and atmospheric humidity. You have to check.
