Black spots in the bottom of leaves turn into necrosis, leaves turn yellow and die. Stem necrotic lesions spread along veins to fruits and cause fruit necrosis and soft rot. Disease is fast-spreading. Samples of plants are under analysis, but maybe, somebody has met the disease before???

thank you. Can Late Blight be in glasshouse? I have not seen on those plants lesions typical of Phytophthora disease. Generally, we have this season an early outbreak of Late Blight of tomato type even on potato plants. Just like in US. So, it can be a rare form. Interesting, that this year Phytophtora was isolated together with some pathogenic bacteria from both tomato and potato plants.

Could be late blight. It spreads rapidly provided leaf remains wet for 3-4 hours and can attack any organ of aerial plant part. We usually have some problems with late blight in greenhouses during rainy season, specially in plants near the anti-aphid net, which get wet during rain and windy events. Regards.

Still, it does not have typical symptoms of Late Blight. Necrosis goes up along vessels.
looks like a bacterial disease to me. Phytophthora would also affect the foliage. Have you noticed any smell out of the rotting fruit?
if is late blight and favorable condition is existed. definitely it will be spread and cottony mycelial growth will be observed. otherwise pluck the affected leaves and put at 18 0c for in moist filter sproulation will take place for confirmation of the Late blight and subsequently same could be observed under microscopy also.
Mehi, thank you. I have now Late blight on tomato in my glasshouse, and it looks quite different from the symptoms shown on those pictures. There are, sure, some bacteria and some fungi in the rotted plants, but we still testing their virulence on young plants.

There is no sporulation for isolated fungi. Enterobacteria are not typical too. I am waiting for DNA test.

Consider that continuous darkness and temperature more than 25 C block sporulation completely.
