I can not, despite trying for the last three hours, a systematic review and/or meta-analysis of observational studies where the the sysnthesized quantitative evidence has been evaluated by the GRADE approach to assess the confidence in evidence or the strength of it. Could some one help ?

As the quality of meta-analysis of observational study will almost by definition be regarded as low/very low, researchers may not be so inclined to use this method. Furthermore, it is not common to use GRADE outside medicine, so for example in the social sciences, quality is assessed in different ways and mostly not summarized in a single value.
A research team at UCSF has adapted GRADE for observational studies, in the context of evaluating health hazards posed by chemical substances. While it is (as Robert says) not common to use GRADE I believe they are satisfied that, with a few tweaks, the method seems to work fine. I attach a link to one of their systematic reviews.
