I am interested in questions concerning the decoration of late bronze age pottery in europe and elements like crosses of possible symbolic meaning.
Not necesessarily a cross must have the ame being at all times and in all cultural groups. Could anyone help me with bibliiography on this ?

The symbol of the crois prsesent in a lot of areas of bronze age europe: i have seen them in the wietenberg culture in transsylvania as well as in the lake of garda area in italy, the urnfield region of southern germany, on the eberswalde gold cups in brandenburg an las tbut not least on pottery pe.ex. from the cortes de navarra and roquizal del rullo settlements in the spanisch ebro valley. a lot to research, but we need the help of specialists on symbolism als well as on ethnography.
Claro que no se puede determinar el significado de lo que vemos en las paredes de los vasos, pero sí, estoy convencido que valdría la pena de crear un proyecto a nivel europeo y más allá para conseguir almenos una aproximación hacia lo que pueda estar detrás de los motivos presentes en toda Europa: Cruce, círculos, olas, acanaladuras, para no hablar de los se observa en la cerámica mailhaciense: Seres humnos, embaraciones. cruces gamadas (que susto)....
La verdad es que sería muy interesante crear una base de datos internacional, sobre todo del ámbito europeo, en la que se documentaran todos los motivos decorativos de la cerámica, desde el Bronce Final hasta el final de la Edad del Hierro, pero no sólo de la cerámica, sino de otros materiales que también tengan este tipo de decoraciones, tales como sítulas, colgantes, armas, adornos, etc. y también debería contarse con algunos motivos reiterativos del arte rupestre del Bronce Final y Hierro I, tales como zig.zags, aspas, cruces, ondas, todo tipo de zoomorfos, y antropomorfos. Cuando se comparan los motivos parece que la iconografía se repite, independientemente del soporte utilizado.
Es evidente que sería un proyecto de interés general, ya que la iconografía de estas épocas está muy lejos de estar sistematizada.
Tu Panteamiento será la Base para un Proyecto común, lanzado por nosotros, y que dará Luz a Resultados fructuosos. En el Eurasien-Institut, Rama del Instituto Arqueológico Alemán con Sede en Berlín,, hay, Investigadores que llevan una larga Exxperiencia trabajando sobre esas Cuestiones, con un Enfoque en el Este y Sureste de Europa, tanto como en el Área del Mar Báltico y su Hinterland. También dispongo de Contactos con Investigadores del Norte de Italia, Zona donde se aprecia un rico Repertorio de Decoaraciones y Símbolos desde el Bronce Antiguo al como fue definidco para aquella Zona.
Me parece una idea estupenda y me encantaría colaborar con el proyecto si al final sale adelante. En todo caso debería incluirse el conjunto de toda Europa, no sola la del Este, sino también la del Oeste, incluidas Grecia, Italia y España, e incluso las Islas Británicas.
Efectivamente. Será una tare tanto excitante como placentera. Y todo un reto.

This is indeed a validous bibliographical reference for us.Concerning Spain, I think that the Ebro valley ist the part, where tost of this kind of representations is documented, but in all case we wil study all areas fo have agood data base for comparition with the other areas of europe.
José Ignacio Guillén is right when he remarks that we also have to consider no-pottery Objects. I firstly think in the golden Vessels of the Treasure of Villena and the Bowls from Axtroki in the Basque Country and Rianxo in Galicia, which have their most true analogies in the hoard of Eberswalde.
Although it is dated as a text what about AD Lacy (1967) Greek Pottery in the Bronze Age, this did attempt to publish all the then known motifs from this important Bronze Age pottery industry and such catalogues are always valuable for comparative purposes
