The software should not be a trial version. It should be proprietary software and its full features should be freely available for use in academic institutions.

For instance, I know of a program from Microsoft that supports technical education by providing access to Microsoft software for learning, teaching and research purposes to all students, academics, etc. This program is called DreamSpark and it has a wider software catalog of over 500 products and is for qualifying technical departments only.

In addition, apart from Microsoft, full feature Gurobi Optimization software is also freely available for academic institutions.

Would you please suggest more software free for academic institutions?
