I am always curious and confused with the movement of electron, molecule et al when chemical reactions occurred. Maybe the word "movement" is not quite appropriate. I am interested in the way how electron, atom, molecule works when reaction takes place. Could you introduce or give some opinion on this point? Thank you.
Sounds like you may be referring to “electron flow” and the use of curved arrow notation to illustrate the movement of electrons in a chemical reaction. If this is the case, a standard college level organic chemistry text would be a good place to start. Examples would be Organic Chemistry by Wade or Organic Chemistry by Francis A. Carey. In a reaction, electrons typically flow from electron rich species to electron poor. Curved arrows show this movement. Arrows always originate from an electron source such as a lone pair or bond and "point" towards an atom. Confusion often arises because the arrows show the movement of electrons NOT atoms in a chemical reaction. More advanced texts will discuss this in terms of molecular orbital interactions.
