Exactly what I am interested in.

Try this recently published paper, about using MOOCs in a learning center setting in sparsely populated communities in Northern Sweden. We combined chosen MOOCs with a traditional Scandinavian study circle concept. Our project is now continuing. The paper provides some unconventional perspectives on MOOCs and access as well.
