I have isolated recently pathogenic for tomato plant bacteria of Chryseobacterium sp. There is a few references about such bacteria as plant pathogens, including one old strain NCPPB No. 583 of Chryseobacterium sp. received as Xanthomonas stizolobiicola from India and isolated from Stizolobium deeringianum (legumes).
Is there any other records of plant pathogenic Chryseobacterium sp.?
Chryseobacterium despite been a plant pathogen, can also cause infections in chronic, debilitated hospital patients. I had one such case with pneumonia.
Thank you Sourav, Chryseobacterium (Flavovacterium) are common in rotted plant material, but I could not find any report about independent pathogeneis by this bacterium.
Hi Alex Ignatov, can you tell me in a general way the symptoms that you observed in tomato plants with Chryseobacterium, I have now an isolate form stem of diseased tomato plants. But bacteria of this genera are reported as PGPRs or causing foliar necrosis and may be could be endophyte.
Martin Eduardo Avila Miranda Plant had symptoms typical for bacterial canker, but no Cmm or xanthomas spp. (as another yellow plant pathogenic bacteria) were found by both PCR and microbiological isolation. The isolates strains gave fast HR on tobacco leaves and killed young tomato seedlings.
I had a sample with initial wilt symptoms, with adventicious roots. Later other planta oficina greenhouse tomatodo shoun symptoms as P. corrugata. But the molecular taxonómica report with Sequence of 16S tell me that the bacteria is included in Chryseobacterium genera.

Few years ago when monitoring bacterial microbiome of Hyalesthes obsoletus
a Fulguromorpha planthopper of the family cixidae we found that insects ecotypes collected on Urtica doica stinging nettle had a massive titer of Chryseobacterium spp., when compared to H. obsoletus populations collected on Convolvulus arvensis or lavenders. I never heard before about this gram negative bacterium. We have no idea about the status of this bacterium, i.e. if it was a commensal or a pathogen for this hemipteran insect, or if it could be transmitted by H. obsoletus to plant. We could detect as well this kind of bacteria in lavenders (Semetey et al., 2018 AEM) with no clear association with any symptoms.

I have isolated from Urtica doica Chryseobacterium -like yellow-pigmented bacteria many times, but always belived that it was Xanthomonas ( "Common Names of Plant Diseases: Diseases of Foliage Plants (House Plants): Urticaceae". The American Phytopathological Society. 26 March 1993. ) or Panoea ( Toubal S, et al. MALDI-TOF MS Detection of Endophytic Bacteria Associated with Great Nettle (Urtica dioica L.), Grown in Algeria. Pol J Microbiol. 2018 Mar 9;67(1):67-72. ). Urtica is a host for tomato-infecting pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum, so it can have some other common pathogens.

We have one more case of plant pathogenic Chryseobacterium isolation for diseased tomato, now from North Caucasus region.
