For my PhD, I am about to conduct an experiment on the job satisfaction and motivation of students who go on an internship.
My adviser told me that their motivation and satisfaction would be influenced by what they expect to get from their internship, so now I am looking for a questionnaire to measure this aspect. I was told to look into the psychological literature on aspiration levels, but this is not my main topic and I don't know where to start.
Do you know a questionnaire to measure expectations of students regarding their future internship, or expectations of employee regarding their job ? Preferably one written with the psychological literature on aspirations level in mind.
If there is no questionnaire made specifically for future interns, I think a more general one will do the trick just fine.
At this point, any answer, even if just an advice on where to look for the questionnaire, would be immensely helpful.
