thanks for sharing this rather unusual and interesting question on RG. Chlorofom has anaesthetic properties and is considered a rather toxic chlorinated solvent. Thus, regardless of hot or cold, chloroform should always be handled only in a well-ventilated fume hood, and skin contact should be avoided by wearing rubber gloves.
As for dissolving chocolate I would say that no organic solvent will completely dissolve chocolate. The reason is that chokolade contains a variety of ingredients with different solubilities. The fat parts will easily dissolve in most organic solvents, but the carbohydrates and minerals are better (or only) soluble in water. In addition, chocolate contains a certain amount of dietary fiber which is insoluble in all solvents. Thus I think you will never obtain an absolutely clear solution in any solvent.
