Inguinal hernia is not very uncommon in pediatric patient. The standard and recommended treatment is surgery. On the other hand Prolotherapy can close the wide gap of inguinal ring. It is easy,cost effective and devoid of surgical intervention. For reducible inguinal hernia it can be a good alternative option with ultrasonographic guidance.
