I'm searching for MATLAB/SIMULINK tutorials that predict the temperature or pressure response of any negative feed back closed loop control systems such as:
1- Temperature control of fluid in heating/cooling system.
2- Pressure control of compressed air system.
3- Steam pressure control in boiler system.
4- Water temperature control of a flat plate solar collector system.
Include your tutorial with a block diagram showing the transfer function.

Simulink is a visual programming facility under Matlab environment. It facilitates programming through the use of input, output and process blocks. It is more suitable to problems involving complex feedback control with complex input functions. Such situations are rarely encountered in thermal engineering at which most input functions are step functions or on/off functions. However, employing Simulink in thermal problems is interesting and opens new areas of research through the analogy between electrical-electronic based control problems with thermal problems.
Aouf Al-Tabbakh In my opinion, many applications of thermal systems have the same, or even more complexity nature when compared with other electronic or process control systems. For instance, modeling a pressure control system for steam generator of a steam power plant require one input signal (pressure set point) and one output signal (actual measured value of pressure) and many disturbing signals such as: ambient air temperature, steam demand, steam condenser pressure, heat transfer losses from boiler and more ... such control system needs to be simulated using SIMULINK.
Mishaal A Abdulkareem The electrical and electronic systems still cover wider range of control science. Any mechanical control system can be easily represented or replaced by an analogous electrical system, which is not the case when the situation is reversed. In other words, any mechanical system whatever its complexity is can be replaced by analogous circuit of; resistors, capacitors, coils.. etc. But you can not easily translate an electrical circuit to mechanical counterparts. There is NO mechanical computer !
