The US has clear hegemony in the production of information, which may also mean the primacy of access to information. In any case, the peripheral countries are absurdly distant from the great powers in this respect. Whether in the commercial or military sphere, the main powers have a greater structure to obtain and take advantage of the information in a timely manner.
Yes, i feel relativiely safe when use the net, but I use a MAC, and as far as I know the problem to get a virus is not so big, but of course it can happen to anyone. And that other unknown power have admission to my communication tools I don't hope but I have nothing to "declare".
It doesn't matter to me. In a manner of speaking, participation means exposure.

Privacy is most probably the most precious thing one can ask of the modern world specially when using the internet. However, it seems that invasion of privacy has turned into a common practice even in the democratic societies where internet users' personal information is exploited for sociopolitiacal and socioeconomic gains. This has made computer users distrustful about companies like Google and Microsoft. As such, internet privacy is a myth because one way or the other government surveillance always threatens our internal security.
Well, most of us do our best to preserve our privacy when using the internet, still I personally don't feel absolutely safe in privacy.

They say that the information empowers. Therefore who controls the global, economic and technological development of the information networks, has the possibility of benefiting with the result of said development, benefit the affiliates to said networks, but also, prejudice with the factional use of it.

In my opinion, Online secrecy maintenance is the ethical issue of that particular company and various country by their own land of Cyberlaw, but I don't feel safe in the use of the Internet for maintaining my confidential data.

I feel safe when I have nothing to hide or when I am not afraid to get exposed to others, so yes I do feel safe.
It depends on what you mean by save. If someone believes that his privacy remains private, then he is - excuse me - blinded. Even a MAC does not change this. If you accept that part of your privacy is lost and that's okay, then of course you can feel safe.

YeS. I feel safe, but I’m so caucioua when I’m online. For example I only do transactions in known websites and those using ssl
Yes I feel very safe since I avoid filling unnecessary forms online and giving out too much information about myself and I make sure I logout of any website I have been to. Most Internet users get too lazy to logout of a website which makes it pretty easy for an hacker or anybody who has undue access to ur internet tools or smart devices to know what you do online and probably use it against you.
I am ambivalent about the issue. Whatever firewall you try to put in or anti virus software you have, someone (including the government) hell-bent on intruding into your space can do it, whether you like it or not. The public by and large to a large extent apparently are not too concerned since otherwise Facebook would not exist. What info was considered personal a couple of decades ago is publicly and willingly posted on such social media sites perhaps with the intention of getting a lot of "Likes." This being the case the dialogue pertaining to the sanctity of private information is more or less a moot point.
Sometimes but not very often. It depends on the transaction type. For example, when I do financial transaction, a little bit, I don’t feel safe but for other transactions it‘s Ok.

This question is about privacy.It would be helpful to know why you think your privacy is safe or not safe only in certain constellations.
To be honest - not always... Often, I do not have enough time to read all statements when making some new account and I just click "I Accept"... that is my fault, I am aware of that...

I think it depends on your country and region. It is very important . But generally we have to aware about this kind of threats and use update firewalls and antiviruses and antispams.

I agree that the superpowers have a larger structure to get and use information in a timely manner. Powers have better systems for both data security and surveillance of information sent over the Internet. However, apart from the sphere of cybernetic military security, security of data transfer via the Internet in the public institutions sector, including government, central state institutions and regional self-government units, there is also a sphere of commercially operating financial system, including banking that develops instruments and platforms for online electronic banking. In some smaller countries, which are not superpowers, electronic banking systems are built according to global, international, high security standards, consistent with the certification confirming a high level of security of data transfer on the Internet.
