With artificial intelligence, robots are more and more capable to do "deep learning" and from the experience with many thousand cases suggest the best possible way to treat patients...
I don't think so they will be able to replace classical medical Doctors...They can be used to examine and give multiple opinions, but can not replace doctors as the delicate use of hands and the quick decision making combined with the experience cannot be replaced with robots. The most they can do is aid the doctors with complex medical procedures.
For regular situations my answer would be no but under certain circumstances (e.g. natural disaster in remote area) robots can help much more than doctors.
Yeah I do believe. Through AI along with big Data robots can do all surgery with more accurate. But we can't rely on robots fully still we can use their help
This is a very interesting question. I personally do not think that AI will replace doctors totally, however it will for sure replace some of their tasks. And the role of doctors will then change, as in other jobs...
@ Jean-Pierre Jost, Robots will help doctors but cannot replace medical doctors for atleast next 15-20 years based on the current technology/research study.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is going to revolutionize many aspects of our work and life, but the biggest transformation is going to affect our health. Being able to order a pizza through Alexa or writing a letter with Siri are certainly simplifying our daily life, but AI is about to improve our health by providing better medical diagnosis and more accurate therapies.
