Of course, but it's a process that's been going on for about 60 years. it will be necessary to develop new approaches and to release current proposals: it is necessary to innovate and discover other methods.
current developments are fundamentally old (neural network 1957, classical logic programming 1965, systemic theory 1960, ..) ... we need a new path, which one, what does it look like?
which today is AI, tomorrow may not be AI anymore, because AI is something we do not understand yet. Computers are regarded as something AI in the early days, and now no longer so. So the impression of AI is when there are people who have innovations in making solutions better and most of us do not understand why it can happen.
I couldn't agree more. Integrating Artificial Intelligence in the Internet of Things is an essential requirement for the success of the new digital ecosystems. Without AI, we won't able to unlock the value of big data.
Do you agree that it is time for Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Agreed. In fact increasing demand for big data analytics, IoT & AI created more opportunities for AI research. In ICT field, many things / areas e.g. call center, service desk systems, troubleshooting applications etc. are software defined i.e. intelligence is embedded within the business rules to better automate or speed up the processing & bringing down cost or risk. Moreover, many IT infrastructure like storage, server, network, security equipment etc. are comes with analytics module whereby system logs are sending for further processing so that self-updating of patches, self-healing of system errors, trigger for capacity upgrade when workload threshold is reached etc. can be done automatically, efficiently & effectively without manual human intervention and without user / customer complaint i.e. customer can sleep in peace at night.
Yes, Of course. Not only for Artificial Intelligence, but also for Applications of Statistical techniques. because it is the base for machine learning as well as AI and Neural Network.
It depends on the definition of artificial intelligence. When it is about making today's systems and processes more efficient to get better results, then yes. When it is about systems attaining a human-like intelligence, then I think it is rather no. The fact is that systems and processes increasingly perform better thanks to information and communication technologies. But are they becoming as intelligent as humans are? I think, we just started to think about artificial intelligence, but it is a long way to achieve it.
