1. Of the comments that I observed, of late, regarding good plagiarism tool and, the suggestions for the research scholars/writers to be cautious of using these tools, I thought why should we actually depend on this tool, when a research scholar/writer knows that it's written by him/her.
2. Is it because of an apprehension of exact matching (unknowingly writing the same way) of the content in more percentage than what it is supposed to be?
3. If the above two are not the reasons, what else could be the reason for the writer to be more careful while using the tool?
Your mentality and my mentality is same. I never used plagiarism checker before submission of any of my MSS. None of my MSS have ever been rejected after submission to the journals on account of plagiarism. Sincerely cite others work and do not even think of manipulating data.
For those researchers who prepare their manuscript sincerely and have originality don't require to check plagiarism. However, these days many researchers become dishonest and try to make others original idea as their own due to lack of skill or knowledge.
I wish a special kind of checker which could eliminate authors without any contribution in the papers😁!!!!!
The plagiarism tool most universities use is to verify that student assignments are authentic (meaning written by the student). These tools are not usually geared to verify the "veracity of write-ups," whether they be your write-ups or your students' as that would require a fact checking process to determine whether specific statements made were truthful.
