Dear PFAS experts,

I am currently working on a meta-analysis on the concentration of per‑ and polyfluoroalkyl substances in wildlife.

Does the analysis technique of PFAS (e.g., LC-MS-MS, HPLC-Orbitrap-HRMS, UPLC/MS/MS) used in a study have a significant impact on the PFAS concentration? And do I therefore need to account for the analysis technique in my meta-analysis?

As a marine biologist, I am fairly new to the field of PFAS analysis and would therefore really appreciate your advice on this issue.

Thank you and kind regards,

Catharina
