Hi,
I need to create individual rarefaction curves for my microbial ecology data (86 samples with several thousand OTUs each). How do I do this in Primer 7 (or Excel)?
Thanks,
Catharina
I recommend you to use EstimateS and with the data it will give you, you could build your curves in M. Excel.

Hi, I had the answer for the Primer 7. This may work.
According to the Primer 6' manual:
Analyse>Species-Accum Plot>(Indices ✓UGE).
Note: the UGE curves is not indicated for large number of permutatons, i.e., this method works better for original sample order of S.
Cheers
Relevant in humans and in animals.
