It is sad reality that children with autism, as well their families, are subject to many forms of discrimations. As a psychologist, I find this to be immoral and unthetical. We cannot forget that children with autism are human beings and hence should be treated with respect decency. As I see it, children with autism have the right to entertainment and tourism like other healthy people provided that they are accompanied by their parents or other caregivers.

Why not, the child with autism is the right child to have a normal life and to do all kinds of activities such as, recreation, hiking and tourism is one of the means of treatment that help alleviate autism

Thank you Sajda Taha Mahmood for your participation ... but concerning to "allowing them to mix with others in society"...This may be difficult because of some of the views and actions of some members of society towards children of autism and their condemnation of their acts and behaviors, which may harm children and their families....

So, this is the goal of the discussion is that everyone deals with children of autism as ordinary individuals, and do not hurt them through words or looks of contempt or anger from their behaviors. We must assess their cases and help them overcome their pain

Such children deserve more and need more attention.

The question is somewhat unusual in countries where human rights actually apply. If someone is human, then he is entitled to be treated as human, whether he is autistic, trisomic or mentally ill. There should not be two classes of being human, healthy and sick. They existed in the Nazi empire. And those who were handicapped were killed. That answers the question drastically.

كل فرد منا له الحق في الاستمتاع والحياة ... ولكن نظرة البعض إلي أطفال التوحد بأنهم أقل منا هي نظرة دونية وغير مطلوبة ، ويجب النظر إليهم علي أنهم أشخاص عاديين لهم الحق في الحياة والسياحة والترفيه

Who have autistic child, for me, they are more blessed.....; being the parents of normal kids......, sometimes is so hard and thank less job,.... that being the parents of special kids seem great,.... as special kids are more loving (in view of my experiences), kind and these kids can hear, feel, what normal people are unable to hear and feel.........

I am also in a similar situation to have a near relative as severe handicapped. One gets another view to things in such a situation.

All people who work professionally or voluntarily in social and educational institutions should definitely spend time with mentally handicapped and handicapped children in order to gain direct contact and experience.
