I want to do a thin film coating on glass or plastic (nano scale coating). I need a material which when coated on glass/plastic, highers or lowers the reflection or transmission of light with variation in temperature.
I am not a specialist on optics, but remember to see discussions on that and to start I recommend to look at Photonics publications, e.g.:

A lot of materials may have this property . . .you just need to go through literature !!
Though, searching directly (in google scholar) such materials will be a mighty task !!
