Do all the wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum have the same application in all sensors (Eg: 0.45-0.52, location is blue, and principal application is water body for TM)? And I would like to know each range of electromagnetic spectrum and its principal application with document (For eg : Near IR -for determining vegetation types) like this for the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
It would be great to have detailed document with all the wavelength with their application. Nevertheless, a specific wavelength is generated using laser and any laser manufacturer will try to sell their product by providing applications... To answer your first question, to my knowledge, YES a spectrum range is used for specific applications. But some sensors are made very sensitive for low power or precise applications, and other sensors are made for high power applications which are generally less precise. Other parameters such as acquisition speed and resolutions depends on the sensors used...
