The DNA topoisomerase II works by cutting the G-segment or gate segment DNA while another segment of DNA molecule (T-segment or transported segment DNA) is transported to the break.
My questions are:
what is the function of T-segment DNA molecule that is transported to the break?
and what is the interaction between T-segment DNA and the enzyme?
