For a long time we used a Yellow Spring instrument Co - YSI 5300 biological oxygen monitor that allowed us to measure mitochondrial respiration and things like that. Those electrodes were very sturdy, though a bit noisy at times and has finally died.
Does anyone have experience in O2 electrodes for biological applications that are more affordable than the Oroboros? I am particularly interested in instruments with robust electrodes...
thanks!
