Hi, I have some troubles to dissolve PLLA into a solution of DCM and DMF. In facts its been 2 days keeping the solution over stirring, but it's not completely dissolve. I want to know how to accelerate the process: Heat or Sonicate?
Usually people talks about to sonicate, but for electrospinning, I'm afraid of breaking the polymer and finally find different properties of the sheet of electrospinning. Does anyone have some advices?

They write at moderate polymer concentrations, maybe yours is too high, so try to look what the effect of dilution is. Not enough? Maybe the degree of crystallinity plays a role, carefully heat a little bit.

I have few suggestions for you,
it may work, do the following
first you weigh the required quantity of PLLA and dissolve with DCM (add required volume) and keep it for dissolving on stirrer (2-3 hours). Once your polymer dissolved and then add the DMF (required volume) and again keep it for an hour and then use for electrospinning.
