I want to dissolve a PCL,PEO polymer combination in chloroform,DMF (80:20) combination. it worked fine with that but while electrospinning, i didnt experience whipping action of the jet. For that, I increased the DMF in Chloroform,DMF (60:40) keeping same polymer combination but after incorporation of lysozyme, I experienced some particle formation which was not seen with chloroform, DMF (80:20) ratio. What can be reason for that. Can somebody suggest something.
variation of the ration leading to change in solubility of your PCL,PEO in the mix solvents so during the process of spinning charge transfer will need to be control to avoid the particles formation

I would not expect that lysozyme is soluble in one of the solvents (maybe in DMF???) nor in any of solvent mixtures with different ratio. Do you have info on its solubility without polymer?
I dont have the exact data Sir. but actually, i used to dissolve lysozyme in dmso first and then mix both solutions. its same for all cases.
In other case, what organic solvent in your thinking, will be better, if i use it in combination with chloroform.
I would first determine whether and in which solvent ratio lysozyme has sufficiently high solubility. Still its solubility may be affected by the polymer.
OK Sir. But do you have any idea, about any suitable solvent for lysozyme?
