The use of antibiotics has reduced mortality rates from infectious diseases from over 50% to only 3% during that last one hundred years. At the same time, chronic, non-communicable diseases has become dominant and is constantly increasing. Some believe (including myself) that this increase is due to the destruction of the beneficial bacteria (through extensive use of antibiotics) which play roles beyond our existing knowledge. Therefore, resistance to antibiotics may be a mean to correct this mistake. What do you think if this subject???
