As yourself, I find the subject not only interesting but crucial for human evolution, that´s why I would suggest you develop a deeper research about the global implications on working with social responsibility. There are two authors and entrepreneurs that I consider real heroes in this subject, one is John Perkins, author of this book:
And the second is Jeremy Rifkin, author of several books and CEO of different firms related with social/environmental impact.
These two guys tackle the CSR and take it to the highest level, even if you´re not interested on working with this depth or complexity, it would be educational for your thesis to have these references in mind.
One more hint: social and environmental are two indissoluble aspects of any company or society.
Thank you very much for the answer. As in developed countries ESG has been dealt well but in developing countries it's still not considered important because of corruption etc. so with my research I want to help developing countries to accept developed country's norms to help the climate. Maybe not fully but even 10% will help.
Once again Thank you very much for sending those two authors names, I will definitely read about them.
