In FRET, donor emission decrease and acceptor emission increase by the same rate. Is this also happen in radiative energy transfer.
In my case, donor emission spectrum is 100% overlapping with the absorption spectrum of the acceptor. Also when I measured the fluorescence of the sample, donor emission is completely diminished and acceptor emission becomes double.
Is this the case of radiative energy transfer or FRET? Unfortunately, I don't have decay lifetime measurement apparatus, that why I cannot find a lifetime of the donor.
