What is the difference between the two periodicals IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica sinica (published by IEEE and CAA) and the Acta Automatica sinica (published by Elsevier). They have the same editorial borad and the same Editor-in-Cheif.
The both journals are intsrested by the same topics, the first one (Acta Automatica Sinica) is a joint publication of Chinese Association of Automation and the Institute of Automation (the Chinese Academy of Sciences). But the other is published by IEEE and Chinese Association of Automation.
But, I think that they stopped the first one, because its last edition it was : Acta Automatica Sinica Volume 41, Issue 10, Pages 1772-1787 (October 2015).

Acta Automatica Sinica used to publish articals in both Chinese and English. Since 2015, Chinese articals are published in Acta Automatica Sinica, and English articals are published in IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica sinica.
Both Acta Automatica Sinica and IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica lost impact factors (IFs) or neither of them has had IFs up till now.
