I investigated several estuaries of the Black Sea cost. Connection is very strong and if depth of the e. is not enough appearing blooming as e. is like collector of wastes of the water body (the Sassyk Reservoir).

But if the depth is enough (like the Dnieper-Bug e.) one could see the redistribution of Gross primary production when consumption of extra production of the surface layers is compensated in the sub-merged layers and in bottom. So, will be high trophic status and meso-saprobic conditions of organic pollution.

As well the very important in estuaries is salinity changing.
