It is a big turn-down when your article gets rejected for the wrong reasons. Have you ever felt that the reviewers have not read your paper properly before writing their comments? What to do when you get back your manuscript with some sloppy comments?
I had an experienxe of editor disliking my papwr and not wanting to send it for review, although he was from totally different area of specialisation....bad feeling, but you can't really do anything about it. Another journal of the same quality accepted it without revision!
Does writing to the Chief Editor help in such situations? After having spent almost an year doing two major revisions? The original manuscript has changed drastically. A new submission would certainly come with their own set of revisions. Kosta Sotiroski Mirna Leko-Šimić
Don't consider it a turn down but a blessing until you find the right person to read it. It is not easy because everyone is different, may have other expectations. Need to send to several to be successive or lucky.
