This question is a big insult to all sacred texts, including Hebrew Bible, Christian Bible and Coran. I suggested to RG to delete Fred Romano permanently. EC3 project is a real scientific project, and don’t need to be proved on sacred texts.
Claude to insist that EC3 is a real scientific project and then promote religion in the same fashion suggests a contradiction. Religion does not exist or operate within scientific context but through belief systems and conditioning. The Bible for example appears to be no more than fictional accounts of the past possibly composed between 400 and 50 BCE referencing the myths of a failed state. It is both beautifully written (by elite scribes who were priests or attached to the priesthood) but also violent and ahistorical.

I'll be neutral or objective. Science goes with science and religion with religion. So we should all behave. Of course, religion is a scientific study, but it has its metoldologiju ... that does not have much to do with real science. Please Fred for your understanding. Here no one should feel injured. It must respect the basic principles of science and the Project EC3!

Caiman is the name given to any honorific assistant profesor in Normale Sup, so no French should feel insulted by that title. Please don't overreact. I thought Claude Jouis followed the normal ascension process in Normale Sup' but apparently no.
It is important to view religion historically, scientifically and psychologically. But to insist that there is an immediate correlation between science and religion is absurd. Each carries it own justifications. I do attempt to look at religion both historically and sociologically for example, examining text and making comparisons with other text of or around the time period, understanding where possible where and when each was written and my verdict is therefore justified within the parameters of such thinking.
@Christophe Jouis, Just reminding all Shylock is a very interesting central character in The Merchant of Venise, a Shakespeare play. So, I won't say it's a plain insult. Just a much more complex thing, that can also be considered as a tribute. I can't understand why you insist on its negativity.

Fateh, I liberally read the Qur'an but unfortunately have yet to find any of the superlatives you note. I do find it rediculous on a scientific site to talk about an old book of often flat and tedious writing, intellectually limited ideas and sayings in such a determined fashion. Do you not think you shou;ld read with an open mind and with comparisons to great literature worldwide? The difference in quality is glaring.

The goal is not comparison but analysis, if well-done, that may reveal new aspects. The same for all those Holy Books. It should be an enhancement but as far we can't access the results, I really can't guarantee the method.
With which available copy of holy text you want to analyse should be known whether it is original or translated ,the state and status of society , relevance to now and requirements at present
At present going through Exodus and Deutoronomy for example, none is really applicable in the modern world tailored as it is for a specific society in the past. But scholars have and do look at the language to understand who actually wrote it and when. In fact, this is an interesting process.
Translation done in other languages of holy Book is not that much reliable
Satish, I can only hope some are better in their original languages but the thinking is essentially different. The ideal household in Exodus and Deuteronomy seems to be a rich or well off one with servents and or slaves. Slaves are cruelly punished for speaking back to their masters. Concubinage is rife.
