I tried L1CAM antibody for immunocapture of purified plasma vesicles but not getting any vesicles as a result. Did somebody succed? Or another marker would work better?

One problem you may be running into is that extra-vesicular markers vary depending upon cell of origin. So even if some exosomes have L1CAM, others might not. I'd try isolating your exosomes by size (maybe just run your filtered media through a 0.2 um filter, or do some centrifugation to purify, etc.) and lyse them and Western blot for L1CAM. This should, at least, help you to trouble shoot your procedure - if you see no protein, clearly you need a different marker for immunocapture. If you see plenty, your capture protocol is the point of failure.
