Hi!

I have a question regarding the preparation of dextran-FITC solutions. As of now I have been preparing fresh my dextran-FITC solution to perform my experiments of dextran transport. However, this amount is very little and I am afraid that this may affect the replicability of my experiments. Has anyone prepared solutions of dextran-FITC? If so, do you dissolve it in milliQ water or DMSO? Also, have you had any problems with degradation or loss of signal? And how do you store it? Powder is fine with being at RT and in the dark, but I would say that dextran-FITC should be stored cold (either 4ºC or frozen) but I have not been able to find any bibliography in this matter.
