May win for short range but never wins truly in long run.

Devil may win but to a certain extent.

He uses his lies and temptations to try to persuade you, that you have a hopeless cause, so you might as well give up and quit and surrender and leave the field to him, Put your faith in the God and you're bound to win.

Nobody whatever he is accept to allow the devil to win on hem, however, the evil comes to you from many doors. These doors are called Desires. Whenever you go on with these desires then you allowed the evil to win. Whenever you fight these desires and limited its impact on you you will win and the evil will loss his fight against you.
