I am using ImageJ on mac and when I select bands, the first one detected correctly, when I click cmd 2 (= ctr 2 on windows system) to detect the second band, the rectangle gets fixed on the previous one (which is band number 1) and the same for the rest (attached photo to deliver the question more clear) .. I tried to read how to solve this and unfortunately, I couldn't find an answer.. Can any one let me know the reason and how to solve this issue????

What I normally do (Also have mac) is to just move the rectangle to the right or left by the arrows on the keyboard.
Dear Vahid , first thanks for your cooperation but honestly, I did, the rectangle of the second band be over the first one, and when I use arrows it moves but when I click cmd2 to select 3 band again it get fixed over the first one, I tried to continue all stuck over each other and ultimately, I manually separate them but I am not sure whether the measurement is accurate or not as long as they are not fixed properly from the beginning!!!! or do you think I should ignore and trust the upcoming values???

Dear Sathya, a deep appreciation, I have followed and it worked when I enlarged the size of the rectangle around the band, when I try to make the rectangle size as exactly as the band (to remove background) then the rectangles not stabilized at the respective portions. Would you please let me know to assure my measurements values accuracy which strategy is perfect for analysis ??
