In traditional on-grid solar systems, any power generated when the grid goes down (e.g., during load shedding) becomes completely unusable, as inverters shut off for safety. This leads to total wastage of clean solar energy during the most critical times — i.e., when it’s actually needed most. The main application of the project is "How do you safely convert and route solar DC power to AC appliances during a power cut, without depending on a battery or traditional inverter?"
