Any model of a psychiatric disorder has very low validity and credibility. Some laboratory animal models are accepted in the literature simply for supporting basic research, but they are very far from the clinical reality and practice. Models with plants must be very difficult to reproduce such a complex psychopathology. The human being is the result of a wide variety of influences - genetics, development, trauma, social, educational and environmental features. Mental disorders can only be studied with validate reproducibility and credibility in human beings.
