Hello everyone!

I perform an in vitro release study of an protein encapsulated in polymeric nanoparticles, using human blood plasma as medium. The released protein is quantified by sandwich ELISA, based on the binding of biotinylated second antibody and streptavidin conjugated HRP. Unfortunately, the background is extremely high due to the biotin in plasma, so that no quantificated - worthy results can be obtained.

Is there a way to deplete the biotin and biotinylated proteins from the blood plasma totally? I really need a biotin-free environment.

Thank you in advance!
